We continue to make the health and wellness of our school community a priority. I have been meeting weekly with our school psychologist, Ms. Worley and our school counselor, Ms. Campbell, to discuss what we can do here at Alcott to create the strongest and most supportive culture possible. COVID has proven to be more difficult than we ever could have anticipated and we are making sure that the supports we are creating are allowing our students the opportunity to share their fears and/or anxieties. I will be creating a Wellness Corner on our website that will include weekly messages from Ms. Campbell and Ms. Worley. I believe this will be a great resource for you and your family.
Alcott PTA will be kicking off our very first fundraiser of the year starting on Monday of next week! A fundraiser packet will be sent home to each student on Monday. In side the packet you will find a parent letter with step by step instructions to follow explaining how the fundraiser works, an order form, and the catalog for the fundraiser itself. If you have any questions at all please reach out to our PTA President, Alisha Powell, via email or text. Her contact information is listed below.
VACCINE MANDATE COMMUNICATION
Two letters have been sent out centrally following the board action at the September 28th board meeting, one to All Staff and one to All Families. Be sure to review the district website for details.
