Assessment Survey

Good afternoon Alcott School Community,

Each year, California Public Schools, are required to meet with their families to conduct an annual needs assessment.  This is one of the most important and enjoyable aspects of being a principal.  I strive to be an administrator who listens and validates the needs of families.  This process is unique to each school because every school, community, and family makeup is different.  A needs assessment must reflect the "needs of the school's community".  Unfortunately, this year we are unable to meet in person to work in groups and outline our needs.  However, in an effort to ensure I hear directly from you, I am asking all our families to complete the attached google document that will begin our process.  Once I have this data, I will hold a virtual Town Hall Meeting for our community to review the findings and begin our conversations that will be shared with the Alcott School Site Council (SSC).

Please use the below link to complete this 1st phase of our Needs Assessment.  The survey is brief but will provide powerful information for us as we align our funding to YOUR needs.
